Flowers of Paper

Revered Swamiji,

Neither do I have the good fortune
nor the positive Karma
to be able to greet Thee with
a bouquet of fresh flowers
on Thy birthday;
so I must be content
to send Thee a picture of
a bouquet of flowers
which is also a picture of ourselves
for what are we
but flowers of paper
praying for Thy Divine Grace
to be blessed with beauty and perfume.
