We have Lost the shell but Gained the Pearl

We have lost the shell but gained the Pearl.

Gurudev is closer to us than ever before, let us feel

His presence in our hearts more than ever before.

Let us remember Him and His loving ways more than ever before.

Let us adore him from our hearts deepest core,

Let us serve, love, give, purify, meditate and realise

Him here and now, for in the ocean of Existence

we have lost the shell and gained the core.

Let our hearts not be pained, let our feelings not be sore

Gurudev has such a great treasure for us in store,

He has left behind His loving ways, His great example

of Guru Bhakti and Manav Seva; let us follow and come to the fore.

For Radiant Immortal Atman are we, His dearest children

His very own are we, in Spirit, in Being, we are not human beings

but we are this very Light that He was for us.

Let us tarry no more at the lifeless shore but dive deep into

the Ocean of Bliss, where He waits with open arms

and Love and Affection galore, we have lost the shell,

we have gained the Pearl, let us weep no more.

On the compact disc of our consciousness, let us record

His teachings, His golden memories, His sweet and encouraging words

and play this compact disc every moment of our lives

that we may become walking, breathing, living image

of the One and Only Truth –Consciousness- Bliss

in other words SATCHITANANDA

which is but another name for our beloved

Gurudev Param Pujya Swami Chidananda.

For we have lost the shell and gained the Pearl.

This is the truth and nothing but the truth and certainty not folklore,

therefore Radiant Immortal Atmans and my beloved friends in the spirit,

weep no more but to the occasion let us rise,

Serve, Love, Give, Purify, Meditate, Realise

we have lost the shell and gained the Pearl of priceless price

our very own Param Pujya Sri Swami Chidananda.
